B. Braun Integrated Pharmaceutical Plant
The B. Braun Integrated Pharmaceutical Plant is situated in the Longlake Business Park in Modderfontein, Johannesburg.
This Pharmaceutical Plant was designed to expand the company’s capabilities, in tripling the current manufacturing volume, where a significant portion would be produced for export business. The ZAR 300m investment project was pledged to President Ramaphosa at the Investment Summit in November 2019.
Our new state of the art facility has united the production of three product groups under one roof on approx. 6000 square meters, namely intravenous sterile products, dialysis concentrates and disinfectants.
The majority of the 150 new employees were recruited through the YES (Youth Employment Service) programme and live in the nearby township of Alexandra.
