The route spanning from Cape Town to the peaceful sea-side town of Knysna boasts a wide variety of landscapes, activities and sight-seeing places that will leave you with a multitude of fantastic memories. The Garden Route gets its name from its splendour as a natural wonder of mother nature. The many sea-side towns that span across the coastline each hold a distinctive personality and will let you fully enjoy the many activities and sight-seeings available along the way. Garden Route tours offer a wide range of activities, from bungee jumping to tree canopy tours, Cango Caves exploration, cheetah petting, wildlife viewing, birdwatching, river rafting, hiking, walks and many more.
Most famous for its large size and huge variety of flora and fauna, Kruger Park safaris also offer a chance to enjoy a malaria-free destination in South Africa. Here you will have a chance to view a large number of wildlife and bird life species, along with a range of ecosystems. The park has a long and extensive history dating back to the days of the nomadic hunters who used to roam the land in search of animals to hunt. Today, it is by far one of Southern Africa’s most well-known parks, and forms part of the Great Limpopo Transfrontier Park, comprising of Kruger as well as Gonarezhou National Park in Zimbabwe and Limpopo National Park in Mozambique.
The Victoria Falls presents a spectacular sight of awe-inspiring beauty and grandeur on the Zambezi River, forming a natural border between Zambia and Zimbabwe. It was described by the Kololo tribe living in the area as ‘Mosi-oa-Tunya’ – ‘The Smoke that Thunders’ for the immense spray and incredible noise caused by the rushing water.
On this tour, you will enjoy Victoria Falls from the Zimbabwean side. For those with an adventurous spirit, make time for some white river rafting, a helicopter ride over the falls, or even take a 111-metre bungie jump off the Victoria Falls Bridge.
