All Africa Expo ISTMA 2023 > 6 – 10 November 2023 > Cape Town International Convention Centre – South Africa

More than a conference experience

The All Africa Expo ISTMA 2023 partners with South African Tourism to give delegates more than just a ‘conference’ experience.

The All Africa Expo ISTMA 2023, which consists of the 16th ISTMA World Conference coinciding with the inaugural All Africa Expo, has officially partnered with South African Tourism to give delegates to the event a memorable experience of the host city, Cape Town, and of South Africa.

South African Tourism is the national tourism agency responsible for marketing South Africa as a preferred tourist destination and has put together a special programme for attending delegates and their partners to enjoy Cape Town and South Africa.

Cape Town is one of the world’s best-known and loved cities with Table Mountain – one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World, the magnificent Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens and an array of renowned culinary destinations and wine routes on its doorstep.

Attractions that will be enjoyed on the Accompanying Partner Programme include an open-topped, hop-on-hop-off bus tour of the Constantia Wine Valley, a day of shopping at the V&A Waterfront and a yacht cruise in Table Bay. Several other day tours and activities have been made available for booking on the website, for guests to experience the best of what the Western Cape and Southern Africa has to offer.

The ISTMA 16th World Conference is the triennial World Conference of the International Special Tooling and Machining Association (ISTMA) – the world’s largest representative body for global tooling manufacturing. The conference will cover the topics of Sustainable development, Technical advances in tooling manufacturing, and Skills development and promises knowledge sharing and networking opportunities for delegates in the mould, die, special tooling, and precision machining industry.

The All Africa Expo will give African countries a platform to showcase their tooling manufacturing capabilities and investment potential to delegates from around the world and will also offer continental tooling producers exposure to the world’s foremost tooling technology, tooling houses and influential role players. This first-of-its-kind platform is a nod to Africa’s spirit of innovation and manufacturing excellence.

“We are excited about our partnership with South African Tourism and know that attendees to the All Africa Expo ISTMA 2023 will not only enjoy a quality and professionally organized conference bringing together industry giants, thought leaders, and influential delegates from 22 countries but will also get to relax and experience the wonderful Western Cape like never before,” said Bob Williamson, President at ISTMA.
