AECI Spraypave is a leading manufacturer and supplier of bitumen, modified binders and emulsions for road construction in South Africa. The company was established in 1981 in Alrode, Gauteng, and today also operates from facilities in Durban and Cape Town. In 2016 Spraypave’s multistage bitumen converter was commissioned at the Cape Town plant, enabling the company to produce high specification bitumen from refinery penetration grade bitumen for use in asphalt production.
